On this guide, you can learn how to format your documents or dissertations to the format you may be required to use by your lecturer, or the format described in your Module Handbook.
To make this process simple (and tidier), each section/tab has been moved into the 'Formatting information' tab, where each of the individual formatting options are placed, if you scroll down this page, you will find all of these options placed as tiles below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: On most of these guides, you will be shown where the menus and options are located on different systems, HOWEVER, not all features are available on the online version of Office (which you may be using if you have a Chromebook for example).
To make use of some of the features, you will need access to either a Windows or Apple (Mac) computer to achieve the desired format.
Computers are available on all campuses where they run Windows 11 and have the latest version of the desktop versions of the office suite which you can use.
